Interface Asset - Phidgets RFID

Table of Contents

    Description

This Phidgets RFID Interface Asset enables you to use RFID readers from Phidget - aka PhidgetRFID - with IntuiFace.

Note: This Interface Asset is only available for use on Windows PCs.

Compared to IntuiFace's built-in RFID support, IntuiFace's PhidgetRFID support enables you to use more than one reader at the same time, making it possible to adopt popular scenarios such as retail Lift & Learn.

To explore various scenarios using IntuiFace and RFID, take a look at our Exploring RFID Technology sample experience available for free in the IntuiFace Marketplace. This sample does not require PhidgetRFID to work - it can simulate RFID reader use - but if you have PhidgetRFID readers, you can use them directly.

If you wish to use other Phidget devices such as physical buttons or distance sensors, check this article

    Device Requirements

NOTE: There is no need for installing any third party software when using Phidgets. IntuiFace embarks proprietary dll files for the Phidgets Interface Asset. Installing any third party dll files may result in a miss-operation of the Phidgets Interface Asset.

The supported device is the Phidget RFID 1024 board. We recommend to use it in combination with its enclosure.
